### Learn how to paint 3D geometry in 3ds Max using the Disperse plugin

Disperse is a 3ds Max plugin that allows artists to paint with 3D geometry and third-party proxies directly in a 3D scene, similar to 2D painting software.

We designed it to be lightweight on the graphics card and allow exporting back into edit mesh and 3ds Max 3rd-party proxy formats if necessary. Disperse allows 3D artists to export to game engines from 3ds Max or real-time rendering software such as Chaos Vantage.

### Learn how to create a magical 3D scene using the Disperse 3ds Max plugin

For this video, I want to show you how easy it is to work with the Disperse 3ds Max plugin.

I'll make a small scene in 3ds Max, building it up with multiple Disperse setups, to allow me to control each one independently. I'll also use the third-party software Plant Factory to add plants. It's free and offers extensive customisation tools and one-click animation settings for 3ds Max users, similar to Speedtree.
