Illumi - Overview

ο»Ώ

Illumi was designed at a time when HDRI lighting in 3ds Max was a little difficult to set up. We made the tool as a means to rapidly load in our recommended setting to allow 3D artists an opportunity to experiment with multiple HDRI's, before locking down the final look. It works by mathematically scanning the HDR image and pinpointing the brightest position as the likely light position. Next, it will create a lighting rig, aligning a sun to this point, and add environment lighting, based on optimal settings for your rendering settings (V-Ray, Corona). All this, simply with the click of a button!
