Overview

Our mission was to create a tool where artists could simply paint 3D geometry and proxies in a scene, similar to using 2D painting software. It needed to be lightweight on the graphics card and allow for export back into edit mesh and proxy formats, if necessary. Unlike scattering tools, Disperse is designed for painting in 3D detail over small areas. You manually paint in objects where you need them using single-selected objects, multi-selected, or all of them. If you make a mistake use the eraser to remove geometry or replace it with another object. We have also added the ability to replace objects in Disperse with scene objects.
